At age 100, this single story craftsman bungalow was lifted and almost completely reconstructed to create a new two story home. Once the house was lifted, the existing basement and foundation were demolished. The new foundation was constructed, and with the exception of the front section of the roof, the home was entirely re-framed with a new floorplan, expanding the living space from 1,379 to 2,609 square feet.

Inside the home, custom cabinetry, moulding and tile were designed to showcase the home’s original craftsman architecture. The home now has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, an indoor wood shop and a detached garage.
New exterior siding and trim were chosen to match the original architecture. The original front porch columns and guardrail were preserved and reinstalled. Photos of the home’s exterior are not shown here out of respect for the owner’s privacy.
