Our work begins with a highly skilled core team that self-performs carpentry and project management, maintaining control of the details from foundation work through to the finishes.

The same craftspeople who will be responsible for the installation of doors, windows, and millwork later in the project directly oversee the layout of structural work early on. These craftspeople are personally invested in ensuring that the structural work meets the exact specifications defined by the project’s architects and engineers.

The project manager is on site every day, immersed in the drawings, defining and guiding scope, tolerances, and sequencing throughout. Our continuity of control from foundation to finish ensures that every detail is executed faithfully to the plans.

In the early phases of the project (excavation, concrete, heavy ironwork), we work with a group of vetted trade partners we have trusted for years. Our long-standing relationships ensure that every trade understands and meets Larkspur Building Company’s high standards.

We engage these partners early in the planning phase. Access, staging, and site protection are carefully organized before any equipment or materials are brought on site. Direct, continuous, and thoughtful coordination allows us to move through these stages quickly and efficiently, without any loss of precision or accuracy.
